Can you search for user authenticated projects by name in GitLab?
Asked 3 years ago
GitLab allows me to serve my customers effectively through building software fast, which in turn means I can stay ahead of my competition. I have a number of user authenticated projects in my GitLab workspace. Is there a feature on GitLab that allows me to search for these projects by name? Thanks!

GitLab has a broad spectrum searching system. Both its basic and advanced search can look for projects. However, to find any project specifically, you need its user ID or merge request ID. In the case of a basic search, you can use a term, and GitLab will search inside the project for relevant terms.
Long story short, you can use the project name to search in the repositories. However, the results you'll get won't be exact unless you search with a related project ID.
