Can you search code in GitLab?
Asked 2 years ago
I have heard many good things about GitLab. I am intrigued by the notion of having a one-stop DevOps platform that will allow me to build software fast, increase my revenue, and secure my supply chain without mess or fuss. I have heard of the different ways you can search on GitLab, but the main way I will need is the ability to search by code. Is it possible to search by code in GitLab?

Searching by code in GitLab is easier than you think. The platform's searching mechanism can be of two types: basic search and advanced search. Both of these systems are almost the same in attributes. However, things take a turn when you bring in the code. The basic search will supply/include only a single project result when you use a code to search in it. Advanced search is the opposite of that. If you use code, you'll get multiple projects in your search at once.
