Can metadata be used to personalize search results in enterprise searches?
Asked 2 years ago
I've been looking to develop a search engine to boost my company's intranet productivity search feature. I'm unsure how to leverage all our data resources to understand what role our metadata will play in the personalization of results to each and every user.

By analyzing the metadata of each user, the search engine can provide personalized results relevant to their interests and preferences. To develop a search engine that leverages metadata for personalization, prioritize the metadata fields most relevant to your company's search needs. This way, you can understand the metadata and identify patterns that can be used to personalize search results. You can also use machine learning algorithms to refine the search results further.
