Is it possible to use knowledge graphs to build a search engine model?

Asked 2 years ago

I'm working on a project for a multinational to build an internal search engine. I would like to better organize semi-structured and unstructured data sources in a data lake for the project. I can't find a dependable way to convert ideas and concepts into structured data to populate the search engine's knowledge stores. Are knowledge graphs appropriate for this?

Yes, it is possible to use knowledge graphs to build a search engine model. They help search engines like Google benefit from structured data about topics. For their efficiency, knowledge graph-powered search is known for yielding search enriched with meaning, hence termed "semantic search".
